Refurbished Iomega Zip 250MB SCSI external drive in excellent condition - you won't be able to tell these drives from
brand new. We won't sell any Zip drives unless they have been thoroughly tested and are in excellent operating condition
and I can say with full confidence that these drives pass all our stringent requirements with flying colors!
They can use both 250MB and 100MB disks, so any 100MB disks you have will be compatible with this larger capacity drive.
The Iomega Zip 250 is as much as 100% faster than the original Zip 100 when used with 250MB disks.
The rear of the drive has two DB25 female connectors so that you can daisy-chain the drive with other
SCSI drives and two switches that allow you to set the termination setting (on/off) and SCSI ID (5 and 6 only). Another
nice feature of the Zip 250 is that it has a front-mounted lighted ON/OFF power switch that makes it easy to turn off the
drive when it is not being used.
This drive comes with the newer design streamlined power supply that fits in the same space as a normal plug, so you don't
have to waste more than one outlet on your power strip. The power supply is universal, which means that it accepts any power
source from 90 to 240 volts, 50 or 60 Hz. It works anywhere in the world! The unit will automatically switch to accommodate
whichever power is being provided when it is plugged in - it does not require that any switches be changed or anything at all
be done. If your country uses a blade configuration or size that is different from the standard US/Canada blade type, then
you will need an inexpensive power travel adapter in order to use the power supply in your country.
This Zip drive comes with a 90-day warranty.
