Important: Because we sell SCSI drives for installation inside your sampler, there is always the possibility that you may damage the drive or your sampler installing these drives. Therefore, you are 100% responsible for anything that may happen to the drive, your sampler or any other equipment you own while installing or using the drives we sell. By making a payment to us and accepting possession of our hardware, you agree to hold us completely free of liability for any damage to the drive you buy from us, your sampler, any equipment attached to your sampler, as well as injury to your person and your household.
Product Return Policy

Most of the products sold by us that are delivered within the US or Canada are eligible for our 7-day Return policy. This policy specifies that during the first 7 days, starting the date the order is delivered, you can decide to return the covered item for a refund. You must contact us by phone or email during those 7 days and let us know that you want to return the covered items. We will give you an RA number at that time and you then have an additional 7 days (starting the day the RA is issued) to get the products back in our warehouse. The amount of the refund will be the original sales price less the original shipping charge (shipping charges are not refundable) and less a 10% restocking charge. Returned products must be in their original condition and cannot show signs of abuse or damage.

What Is Not Returnable

Custom Products, SCSI Cables, Internal SCSI Drive Install Kits, Media (Zip disks, Compact Flash cards), Sampler Cards/Parts

It is a good idea to be extra careful with the product(s) during the first 7 days, so in the event you should decide to return anything, it will still be in brand-new condition. We will not accept any products for return that have been damaged or abused in any way.

Be sure to retain your receipt as this will be needed for returning a product. No returns will be accepted without a copy of the receipt!

Please note that the returned item(s) must be back in our possession by the 7th day from the day you receive your RA number. No returns will be accepted beyond the 7th day or without a valid RA number. This is very important, so be sure to contact us for that RA number once you decide you want to return an item. Failure to follow these procedures will mean that your refund will be delayed or possibly refused.

Return Shipping Address

You will receive the address to return the products to when we give you the RA number.

The cost of shipping the product back to our warehouse must be paid entirely by the buyer. Be sure to use a shipper that allows the shipment to be insured and tracked; we cannot be responsible for lost or damaged packages. Once the product has been received at our warehouse, a refund will be issued immediately, usually the same day we get it back, in the same manner as payment was originally made, such as Paypal.

Please note that any products shipped outside of the US and Canada are not eligible for the 7-day return policy; in those cases, all sales are final.


Product Warranty Policy

All products (unless otherwise noted) are eligible for a 6 month warranty. This warranty provides for a 6-month product replacement or repair period from the date the product is delivered. If for any reason the product cannot be repaired or replaced (such as a product we no longer carry or have access to), then we will prorate the amount of the original purchase price based upon the number of months left on the warranty. This prorated amount can then be taken back as a refund or as a credit towards another product.

Be sure to retain your receipt as this will be needed for obtaining warranty service. No warranty returns or repairs will be accepted without a receipt!

The cost of shipping the products back to our warranty facility must be paid by the buyer and we strongly suggest that you use a shipper such as UPS or FedEx so that the shipment can be insured and tracked; we cannot be responsible for lost or damaged packages. We will pay the cost of returning the replaced or repaired product to the buyer as long as the buyer lives in the US or Canada; any buyers outside of those locations that return products for warranty service will be required to pay the shipping costs both to and from our warranty location.

Important: Both the return policy and the warranty will be in effect only so long as the product is owned by the original buyer. If the product should be transferred to another owner during the 7-day return period, that option will become void. If the product is transferred during the warranty period, the warranty will be honored at the sole discretion of SCSIForSamplers.com.


Returning A Product Or
Obtaining Warranty Service

Please contact us by email or phone before returning any product so that we may issue you an RA number for the item(s) you are planning to return. Any items that are returned to us without an RA number will be refused, so be sure to contact us before shipping any items back. This will insure that you get your refund, repair or replacement item as quickly as possible.

Be sure to retain your invoice as this will be needed for returning a product or obtaining warranty service.


Obtaining Technical Support

There is no time limit or any other type of limitation on Technical Support - we will provide tech support for any of our products forever. We are proud of the equipment we sell and believe it to be top-quality; therefore, we are happy to provide tech support to whomever may end up with it.

Technical Support may be obtained by phone or email correspondance. If you would like us to call you back, so there is no long-distance cost to you, just email us your phone number with area code and the best time to call and we will promptly call you back.
